Well Child Visits

well child visits are one of the most important steps you can take to support your child’s long-term health and development. These visits not only allow us to monitor growth, milestones, and overall well-being but also give you the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns about your child’s physical or emotional health. To ensure availability with your preferred provider, we recommend scheduling well-child appointments about three months in advance, based on the recommended age intervals.
Sick Child Visits
At Morningside Pediatrics in Santa Monica, we understand how quickly a child’s illness can impact daily life, which is why our team prioritizes same-day
sick appointments whenever possible. If your child is unwell or you have concerns about their symptoms, please call our office. Our staff will discuss your child’s condition and help determine the most appropriate time and type of visit based on their healthcare needs.
Telehealth
Telehealth, also known as a virtual visit, allows your child to be seen by one of our pediatricians through secure video conferencing—offering a convenient alternative to in-person appointments. This service provides care from your regular pediatrician, who knows your child’s medical history and has full access to their chart. While not suitable for all conditions, telehealth can effectively address many acute concerns such as rashes, pinkeye (in children over two without fever), colds, mild fevers, allergies, mild croup, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, and minor injuries like abrasions or bites.
